Sneak Preview of Adiumy Smiley Set

Adiumy Smiley

Since some fathers (Adium users) of Adiumy Duck Icon demanded to see their long lost son, I thought I should send in a pic of their sons to hold them for a while. Once the Extreme Make-Upô is done, they will be sent to home in airplane (remember, they don't have wings).

Something like this may seem like simple to make but it ain't. You only have so few pixels to work on and adding one pixel can really affect the overall look. What's even more challenging are deforming the beak and making facial expression to look as clear as possible even from a distant.

Any suggestion/feedback will be appreciated. I'm debating about doing smileys for 4 other colors (yellow, purple, blue and red) but I'm not sure if it will be worth my time.

Flapping AdiumyThis is what will happen if you flap your wings too quickly

Yay! Quack!

Awesome work Adam...thanks for the sneaky peek...man oh man do you come through when asked...

P.S. I would really like the other color variations but understand if it cannot happen!

Looks great! A lot of custom smiles are hard to differentiate from one another, but these are very clear and very smooth. Good work.

Great work!! This is the perfect smiley set for all Adium users, I can't wait to see all of them.

Also, the burning duck is pretty cool.

Absolutely incredible work, the duck beams with pride :D Your site is a beautiful combination of CSS as well, kudos on the design.

On the color variants: why not create an automated batch script to select the green color range and hue shift it appropriately (for the color) and run it on a folder full of the icons? (if they are in a PS compatible format) Shouldn't take 10 minutes or so... (per set)

Wow, Adam. Your artistic talent just keeps growing. I know who to turn to if I ever need some great artwork for anything.

This will boost the "personality" of Adium even more. Awesome! :)

Another reason for people to get off any Yahoo, ICQ or MSN clients and get on Adium.

Thanks for the absolutely awesome smilies (or should those be Quackies?). :)
