Temporary (?) Official Graphic for Photoshop CS3 Beta
I’d like to preview one of my most favorite things about PS CS3 Beta; the new palette system.

As for bugs/glitches that bothered me a lot in current photoshop version, they only fixed 6 out of around 20. I believe they’ll eventually fix some more before final version but so far it’s looking solid to me. Is it solid enough for daily use? I’ll find out soon.

That actually is the final branding for CS3, and you can make the collapsed palettes even smaller by dragging them until they become only icons! Also you can add infinite columns of palettes ^_^
If only I could figure it all out!
This version seems nicer, but it still has quite a steep learning curve.
My gosh Adam, please give this a new icon. Blah!

Ah, pretty nice!
I really like the beta, too. The performance boost is amazing. The only thing I really hate is when you set your brush size higher than a certain amount (it appears to change based upon how zoomed in you are) it changes it to the crosshairs no matter what you have it set to. It’s stupid.
I really disliked the icons at first sight, but now they grow on me, I only hate the shape now ))
The palettes are definitely a great addition. I don’t care for the translucent bezels though. A button in a palette in a bezel is too much visual nesting IMO.
