Adobe OnLocation and Encore are missing as well. OnLocation should be fairly easy, since there’s only the program icon and a generic document icon for the “olproj” files that it produces.
Oh, by the way… awesome design! I was wondering how you could make the spartan boxes look good in icon form. Macrodobe really likes them squares.
Josh – right click on the program icon, select “Show Package Contents”, double click on the “Contents” folder and then the “Resources” folder. Copy the icons to the Resources folder. Think that should do it.
Are the icons for mac or windows.

@Dani – they’re for Mac and I will not be doing Windows version. If anyone would like to port it to Windows, email me and I’ll send the PNG files.

Adam – OnLocation and Encore came with Premiere Pro.
At this rate, I think Premiere Pro will come bundled with the entire Production Premium suite by CS8. =P Not that OL’s addition isn’t appreciated.
For windows users, you can save all these files as .ico with IcoFX (http://icofx.ro/).

Those icons look nice! They look better than the default ones!
What’s better, you didn’t miss out one or two apps that look “unimportant”! The only thing I’ll complain is your lack of old app icons and update of older icons. (examples: Ovation, Authorware, FreeHand, ImageReady, LiveMotion, etc)
There’s one thing I’ll say that could have been better though. It’s a matter of taste, but I want to see non-letter icons to be arranged like the letter ones: logo put in the lower-left corner.
Here’s one request: this is gonna be rejected, but can you distributre the source file of these icons?
And if you use Windows and want to view the ICNS files, try this: http://icofx.ro/ – it (for me) only shows me the 16, 32 and 128 icons though.

Hmm.. I’m guessing no one else had problems with the InDesign icon changing? It’s the correct name and everything.. just weird. Anyway all the rest look and work great.
The icons come in a CS4 branded icon, would it be possible to get this CS4 icon separated from the folder icon itself, along the same lines as the program icons? If not, that’s ok…

Odd. Filenames don’t match the icons in my CS4 app resource folders. I figure you intended such, but the filenames are different. And I don’t understand RegEx, period. Oh well…

I also had the problem of InDesign application icon not updating even though the files had been replaced correctly. All the other ID icons seem to be replaced and work.
Brilliant icon set. Bizarrely enough, the InDesign CS4 icon indeed cannot be changed via the usual method. This is both true of PowerPCs and the new Macs sporting an Intel chipset. The other Adobe applications in Design Premium look fantastic.

Yes… the InDesign problem. has Anyone been successful replacing it? I would assume since Adam made them he got them to work, but I don’t see any responses to the problem.
Some CS apps have custom icon applied to them. If app icon didn’t change after installing .icns files, do a Get Info on app and delete its custom icon by clicking on icon at top-left of Get Info window and hit Delete key. Logout or force-quit Finder for icon changes to take effective.

Hmm I’m baffled. It could be hardcoded or linked to different icon file.
Have you tried changing the icon via CandyBar ( http://panic.com/candybar/ )? It might will help.

Hmmm. That’s Strange. I right clicked ID in applications > get info, and then clicked on the app icon next to the ID title. Hit Cmd-Delete and it immediately was replaced with Adams logo that I had installed.
Congrats Adam on the icons. Adobe should really use them as the default set. Finally I can proudly display my Adobe CS4 apps in the dock
Would it be possible to one for Lightroom? I have all the others updated, and the Lightroom icon now just looks like @$$ sitting there among your amazing artwork.

Just wanted to say I got InDesign to work.
1.copy the new InDesign icon
2.Paste in old icons spot (in “Get Info”)
3.Then log off then back on
4.Go to Indesign and “Get Info”
5.Click Icon and hit Delete button
Worked for me. Thanks
Austin this worked, I have tried everything including replacing the icns file within the indesign package. If nothing works for you, try what Austin recommended!
