I like the simple header for Wii box art but I bet it’s very awkward for box designer because of the blank space between left side to Wii tab on the right. It’s going to be difficult to get a right title layout without pushing it too far down or rotate title diagonally to fit (ugh.)
They should have been a bit more cleaver and simply have taken the the entire top like Microsoft did with the Xbox artwork.
… or Sony did with PlayStation. They should make the left space in a slight darker color and write Nintendo.
Oh I prefer this one more then other XBOX or PS2 boxes. It’s different and I like it a lot. Maybe some shadows will finish it.

Yeah I like the mimimal style they are going for also. And white goes with everything.

I like the simple approach Nintendo are going for, I really do. But part of me believes the box art could be improved. Is there much need for the white strip at the top?
It’s quite nice. I can see how it will be a nightmare to work woth though. The white is nice.
