When I saw this picture of torn paper at iStockphoto, I thought it’s too good not to turn into desktop background so I bought it right away and masked away the background and put this on gradient background. If you would like different color options and/or screen size, I’m willing to do up to two popular ones as I’m pretty busy lately with several projects.
Right-click and save as:
Be Original Blue – 1280×1024, 1920×1200
Be Original Graphite – 1280×1024, 1920×1200

why buying a photo of a paper instead of creating it with photoshop or photograph it as you like?
baldo, I usually like to create everything from scratch myself but this is not something I thought of in the first place (torn paper.) If I try to recreate it on my own, that would be considered as cheating in my book as it is copying and hiding the original inspiration source. The photographer who did the picture deserves some credit for his work/idea.

I gotta request 1680×1050 — The standard resolution of the 20 inch cinema displays. :)
Why the heck are you guys requesting different resolutions? Mac’s use OpenGL to display desktop pictures, meaning if you just use the largest one and scale it down it won’t be jaggy or anything like on Windows.
So silly always requesting walls in different resolutions. Just provide the largest size in different aspect ratios and you’re set.
Doesn’t anyone find this kinda amusing how we’re all downloading some piece of creative, instead of “being original” ourselves? :-/

Hey – since they’re saying provide it for the largest screen and others can scale it down… I have 30″s, and would love this desktop. Care to make one at that size? I personally would like blue, incase you just want to do just one of them (-;

I think being creative is more important that being original. Sometimes you need to see other people work and imitate them to develop your own style.
