I’ve waited for almost two years for this Mac Pro.
Bought along with two 23 inch Apple Displays. Total price: $6,700. Very expensive but will be worth it for many years.
About time to bury my Powermac G4 Quicksilver. It’s dying :(

I personally would have waited for leopards release, but I assume by then that the price would later reflect that.

Really sick setup, I really want those monitors. They’re so powerful, those Mac Pro’s. ‘Specially the new ones.
Yup I got the 8-cores one. I didn’t go for educational discount since I’m not a student anymore although I could, I’d just rather not abuse their system.
I’d like to discuss taking that G4 off your hands if and when you’re ready :)
Now prepare some more cash, because if you want to get all the juice from your MacPro you’ll have to buy CS3 also. A great purchase… Tell us the trick to waiting for it without going insane! :)

Thats a whole lot of horsepower there! I guess it’ll pay for itself in time though.
