I usually dislike black or extreme dark colored background but somehow OS X Leopard and its starry theme converted me. Leather background with punch holes and sparky metal Apple logo. Plain version without Apple logo is also available for both single and dual displays.

Beautiful. Looks sick on my macbook pro. Usually I have a folder of custom desktop images cycling every 30 minutes, but since this one, it’s been on continuously. Do you have a tutorial for how to do those chrome edges?

You know what is as good as black leather?
White leather, for those of us who aren’t much into dark wallpapers. :)
I’ve found that this works great as an iPhone wallpaper image as well – a perfect fit with the glossy, black unlock screen. I used Pixelmator to resize the canvas to 640×960, and then resized the resulting image to the 320×480 dimensions of the iPhone screen. You could always transfer the raw image onto the phone, but I prefer to ensure that the Apple logo is perfectly scaled and centered.

Excellent wallpaper. I found it via google image search looking for a cool apple wallpaper. This is by far the best. Great work. I’ve now put it on all my machines (PC & Mac) and spread it to all my Mac friends as well.
